On top of this, I got listed in Wigleaf’s Top 50 for my short story in Superstition Review, “Fishing for Akule.” I am beyond thrilled to receive this honor! Every year, I hope to even make the longlist, so this is wonderful news.
I was also able to participate in Flash Flood this year with my piece '“a girl” - It was fun and I even wrote to one of their prompts - “Tita Wants.”
I also have a reprint of “Believe We Are Magic” in Syncopation Literary Journal as well as a micro, “the graduation party you decided to skip,” in The Citron Review’s Summer Issue! Celebrate all of the good things with me!
I am currently in Gwen Kirby’s intensive for SLQ’s Summer Workshop and it’s been great, but I am also writing in tandem with the normal workshop and it’s kicking my ass (a little).
