Celebrating My Birthday with an Acceptance, Future Interviews and a Crap Work Week

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I shamelessly promoted my books and my birthday on the 3rd. What I didn’t share was that I got an acceptance on my birthday morning from a top tier lit mag and I am STILL in shock!

Add to that I have lined up a couple of podcast interviews and regular interviews. One is with the Asian American Studies Program Research Project, a series of podcasts to help the students of Brooklyn College have an Asian American Studies Program there. Another is with Short Story Today, a podcast featuring writers hosted by Jon DiSavino. I also have an informal interview with another writer that I am looking forward to talking too. There might also be an online reading to promote my books coming soon!

Finally, today is Friday and I have five classes - this week has been probably one of the worst weeks so far this semester (and it has only just started), which makes celebrating a birthday week very hard - I know first world problems…
