FlashNano 2021 and Writing A Novella in Flash

So instead of writing a novel for NaNoWriMo, I decided to try to write a novella in flash - and I am using Nancy Stohlman’s FlashNano 30 stories in 30 days to write it!

It’s actually been quite the challenge trying to write to prompts that may not have anything to do with my focus but I find it kind of liberating and outside of my usual box of thinking. I have decided to embrace the weird and the strange and just see where the narrative takes me.

On the music front, I also need to get back to playing the ukulele and hopefully posting videos again but I definitely needed the break from it.

On the art front, I have completed two pieces for Flash Frog for publication this month, so I am really excited about that!

Wish me luck for my FlashNano prompt today… I don’t know how I am going to get two Hawaiian creation gods on the edge of a mining town - might have to push that metaphor pretty hard!
