Busy Week with talk story with Melissa YouTube Channel and more

So yeah… it’s been a week.

I made a YouTube channel for my ukulele videos (and maybe some readings and motorcycle ride videos in the future). It’s been a challenge trying to load up my previous videos that I’ve made (the daily limit is real over there) as well as getting copyright hits… I’m working on it, but it’s not easy doing covers of songs on YouTube.

If you want to throw my music up in the background - here’s my channel - talk story with Melissa. Also, I am always open to requests. If I can find the music, and I can play it, I will do my best!

I also received my first acceptance of the year from Pithead Chapel! I have been submitting to them for a few years, but it was never quite a fit, so I am glad to have something that suits their aesthetic. It should be out in their May issue!

I also got news this morning of two more Best Small Fictions nominations! One from Vast Chasm for Just Chill Out, Okayand from Fractured Lit from The Guy in the Redwood Water Tank- Thank you to both wonderful magazines for the honor!!

And finally, I heard from Wigleaf that Let’s Go Holoholo is a finalist for the Mythic Picnic Prize so that’s pretty awesome too!

It’s been a good week for writing and I will take it. I hope that you all are doing well and staying safe… I know shit is hard and I wish it weren’t. Sending light, love and creativity to you all.

PS: I’m kind of starting a newsletter… just sending links to every month’s talk story so that you can keep up with what’s happening with me… it’s not necessary because I know we all don’t need ANOTHER newsletter, but if you want a nudge to come over here, sign up on my contact page. Hugs to you my friends!
