New Micro in Fractured Lit and Feeling The Burn(out)

So happy to have a new micro in Fractured Lit - I hope you check out The Guy in the Redwood Water Tank!

I don’t know what it is lately… but I am starting to feel that burnout… Maybe it’s the heat of summer starting up here in Japan, the humidity making everything stick to my skin. Maybe it’s because I keep pushing myself to do more, whatever that more is. Maybe it’s that I’ve stopped exercising regularly. Maybe it’s just age, hormones, life.

You know it’s funny. Wonderful things can happen and yet you can still feel like you aren’t good enough. Nothing you do matters. It’s a weird liminal space to be in sometimes. You cling to the good but the bad always finds you.

That being said, I will do what I always do when this happens. Remember the amazing things and people and words and take some damn time for myself. Maybe I need to go back to Baldur’s Gate… my vampire boyfriend must be missing me…
