Happy Halloween, Mythic Micros Anthology and a Mini Subspree

I think it’s still Halloween in the US. so Happy Halloween! It’s my favorite holiday, so much so that I got married and went to Lahaina for my wedding party/slash honeymoon when Lahaina hosted one of the largest Halloween parties in the islands. Whether you celebrate or not, I hope that you had a great day!

If you haven’t already, I hope you submit to my Mythic Micros Anthology sub call! Here are the details:

Let's refresh, renew and reimagine our timeline with micros filled with joy and wonder and change.

I am looking for 12 writers to form a micro collection to launch in January 2025 through Mythic Picnic on X/twitter.

I am hoping to give hope and joy in the new year to our online community.

Submission Guidelines:

• 350 words (max): including title, story and bio

• For writers on twitter/X only

• Theme: Refresh, Renew, Reimagine

• Genre: I am open, but I would like it to lean literary.

• One submission per person.

• No AI, please.

All accepted writers will be paid $25 USD for their work via PayPal. I am unable to pay through any other means. Apologies.

I also had a little sub spree this week so that was nice. Hoping for some end of the year acceptances, but we will see. Still need to hit my 200 rejections this year. I’m pretty close.
