Selling Out My First Workshop, Solicitations and Rejections

First off, I just want to thank all of the wonderful people who signed up for my very first workshop! You all are amazing! I really hope that I offer you a safe and creative space. Looking forward to being creative with you!

Next, I just want to squeeee a little because I was asked to submit somewhere, and it meant so much to me I was figuratively jumping for joy. I know that a solicitation is not a guarantee for publication and I’m okay with that. It was the asking that was important.

Finally, the rejection avalanche has not commenced yet but there are signs. I knew that submitting almost every day in August would risk it but I am in a much better place when it comes to rejections, so bring it on.
