ICYMI Short Story Today Interview and Bereket Winter Showcase
I know. I know. I already posted about this last week but this is such amazing stuff going on in my life and I just need to share!!
My interview with Jon DiSavino from Short Story Today was so much fun! I hope you have the chance to listen to it! We talked a lot about my writing, language, Hawai’i - being that this was released the day after the anniversary of the overthrow of the Hawai’ian Monarchy hit me a little hard.
I read “The Day Captain Cook Missed Hawaii” from The Lumiere Review and Jon read the following pieces (so well!!):
“Relax Said the Nightman” from Newfound
“35mm” from Six Sentences
I would also like to promote my reading with Bereket again! So if you are interested in joining us, please sign up! Click HERE to register!
I will be the musical interlude so if that entices you to see me embarrass myself playing the ukulele and singing, then please come!
Finally, I am about 9 rejections in for the year with no acceptances yet but I am submitting and I am writing. It’s all I can do. Sending you all light and love and creativity!
