So today is the last day to submit to Black Lawrence Press and I thought why not sub something - I got all the things right?

No, I don’t. Not even close.

I guess after my chapbook/novella in flash got third placed, then shortlisted and then not shortlisted, I thought why not add more to it and sub it as a full collection.

That was crazy talk.

I looked at what I had and started adding things here and there and the page count grew but I was feeling weird about it and then decided, you know what? This isn’t it.

So I am accepting that right now, no one wants my chapbook/novella in flash and move on from there.

I did have a cnf pub - All Wisdom Is Not Taught in Your School - this week with The Hennepin Review!

I just finished my 30-day beginner guitar challenge and learned how to play Zombie, Perfect, Jolene, Happy Birthday, You Are My Sunshine, Three Little Birds, and Sweet Child O’ Mine!

I’m waiting for some acceptances / rejections to come rolling through soon.
