Another Week of Kindness

Honestly, I feel so grateful for the generosity I have received AGAIN this week. I was able to secure a spot in another workshop this summer with a scholarship! I am just beyond amazed by how kind people are in this community. I know I sound like a broken record but I feel like these things need to be said and put out there.

Also, I finally received a soft date for the publication of my short story collection, and with that the anxiety of asking for other writers to read it and blurb about it…. and everyone (who had the time with the short notice of it) said yes!! Again, more amazing acts of kindness.

I am crossing my fingers for good news about the Novella in Flash contest (we get the news Friday UK time) - but even if I don’t place, I am still grateful someone thought it was worth longlisting and shortlisting.
