Running Every Day For The Last 425 Days
I started running every day on May 27, 2019 for my health. It has been a struggle. At first, it was more walking than running but eventually I could sustain a running pace for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 and eventually 90 minutes.
I know that running every day is both good and bad for me but I needed to add another change to my lifestyle. The other has been to eat more vegan and vegetarian meals during the week. I am aware that injuries are more likely to occur without rest days and I am trying to decide how to implement that without losing all of my hard work. I am considering running every day for another year. My base goal is 30 minutes or 3 miles (5K) every day. I definitely can’t run a 5K in 30 minutes but I would like to one day.
I am not a fast runner and I don’t know if I ever will be but who knows what will happen. I have come so far just doing what I have been doing and am trying to be positive for the future. As a side note, I am writing this as I procrastinate getting on the treadmill for my daily 30.
