Fairy Tales For The Win

Inspiration!!

While on Twitter, a friend of mine retweeted a submission call/theme prompt for rewriting a fairy tale from Cease, Cows.

I have written a few before because I was inspired by Angela Carter’s The Bloody Chamber. I had considered trying to revise one of those for the submission but decided to write something completely new.

I don’t know if it works but I have spent two days writing it and it’s been fun and interesting. Definitely not my usual writing style.

It’s great to challenge myself and be inspired by something different and new.

Cross your fingers it “works” - I know I will be.
