The Finished Zine
After hours of production, creating, carving, printing, folding, stamping, cutting, packaging and tagging, I have finished my zines for the Zinphony tomorrow.
I chose to use a basic A4 paper and fold it down for a tiny 8-page zine. It’s cute.
I wrote a short and simple story in English because, of course, my audience is Japanese. I hope that it’s well received.
I made 50 and I am selling them for 100 yen. I will just recoup my cost and pay for like 2 hours of the tons of hours I labored lol but it’s worth it to finally do it.
I guess the worst that could happen is that no one buys them because they are in English. That’s always a risk but I just don’t feel like writing anything in Japanese would be authentic, artistically speaking.
I am just glad it’s finally done and that I am actually participating this time.
