Why am I not writing?

I know I am sounding like a crazy, warped and very broken record but that question that never leaves my mind has raised its volume to an almost unbearable pitch today...

WHY AM I NOT WRITING?!? 

I think maybe I just don’t care that much about my writing or maybe I just feel the cost isn’t worth the reward.

Then again my writing isn’t about reward and recognition, or is it?  I guess I am pretty self-centered but what writer/artist isn’t?
