Podcasts, TV for My Ears

I started to listen to podcasts about two years ago. I had dabbled in music podcasts, playlists for djs and working out. I hadn't even conceived that there could be podcasts other than music, sports, news, or opinion.

Then someone suggested Nightvale. What a revelation it was. Entertainment, mystery, poetry, music, strangeness, weirdness all tied up with this town on the edge of our awareness, on the edge of our known world.

From there, I discovered Limetown, Tanis, The Black Tapes, The Thrilling Adventure Hour and so much more.

I came to find that podcasts became almost as important as the TV shows I watched religiously.

Podcasts also freed me to do other tasks as I listened and I was able to learn how to crochet.

I may even, one day, try audiobooks. I am assume that they will be just as great but I am wary.
