For every acceptance I get, there are about five to fifteen rejections. Why do we do this to ourselves? I feel like I am gambling with my self-esteem and my art. Needing that sweet hit of an acceptance to counter the deep dives of rejection. Damn… I am tired. My metaphors are all over the place.

I got an acceptance from Complete Sentence for my one sentence story this week! I will take that win! I also will be supplying the art for it so that’s going to be fun!!

I will be completing my 100 days of flash on Monday. It’s been a rough and wonderful ride that I am not quite ready to get off of so here’s to another 100 (or infinity) more!

I will also be continuing my daily practices or art, music and yoga! Let’s do this!
