Well, they aren’t really calling it that this year but it’s what I always think when there are more than three days of holidays in a row in September.

Of course, hopefully no one is traveling, but there are still sporting events for the students so no one is really truly being safe.

I will be staying home (as always), playing video games and watching too much YouTube…hopefully trying my hand at Nashville Hot Chicken and some home made corn tortillas for Baja-style tacos.

I know that these weekly blogs have turned into rants about the lack of safety I have around me and how I feel about it but it’s what’s on my mind these days. I envy those I see writing and submitting and publishing and creating and here I am stuck in this continuous cycle of working for money to live but worried and stressed about getting sick or someone else getting sick. I know two people personally in my family who have gotten the virus. That’s two too many.

I will continue to stay positive and hope that whatever is stopping me from being creative will shuffle right off and leave me be.
