Sorry for the late posting....went out for wine Friday night after a long hot day in the sun for my school’s sport’s day and then prepped for a Saturday of yummy food and a cheesy fantasy movie marathon for my pre-birthday/birthday shenanigans. It was a small, intimate gathering and totally needed.

I submitted a short story to seven lit mags so we will see how that goes. Made a commitment to take the JLPT in December so I will be studying for that instead of working on my novel but I think that’s a good thing. I have also been working on my guitar, trying to build calluses and dexterity.

Overall, things are okay. Not great, but okay.
