This weekend is Zinphony. For the past couple of years, I’ve been going to this zine showcase here in my city. It’s been pretty cool and very inspirational. Every time I go, I think I’ll submit my own zine but time passes so quickly that I am unable to produce anything for it. I do plan to schedule myself to make something for the June event so we shall see how that goes.

It is great to see handmade zines next to professional ones. Those glossy shiny books next to stapled papers always makes me smile. I’m drawn to the idea of people just saying fuck it and making something physical to put out in the world. We get local authors and artists as well as people from Tokyo. It’s great. 

I’m really looking forward to it.
