Tiny Molecule Pub, Rejections and a Trickle of Submissions
It’s been a week… Got my results from my contrast CT scan yesterday… let me tell you it’s been a really stressful month worrying about that… but I am so glad to say it was all clear. So grateful for all of the support of my friends (you all are amazing).
Let’s celebrate with a (in case you missed it) pub at Tiny Molecule - The Coconut Crab Ate My Baby! I wrote this is in a lovely workshop hosted by Lindy Biller!
I have been getting a small but steady deluge of rejections but I have been so stressed about my scan results, dealing with my book edits and life that I just haven’t felt much in the way of them - good or bad.. .which I guess is good?
To balance that out, I have been subbing here and there as the whim takes me. It’s been nice not feeling the constant pressure of YOU MUST ALWAYS BE SUBMITTING OR YOU WILL NEVER BE PUBLISHED AGAIN.
If you’ve been on twitter or facebook, you may have seen that I will be doing a Mythic Micros for Mythic Picnic on twitter. I am going to be working on my sub call and requirements and have it all up next week, hopefully, so keep your eyes on twitter… or here since I will probably write about it next week.
Bike Update: It’s been great. I have been getting over my fear of being too far from my house lol I have had a few incidents where drivers think that I am on a bicycle so pass me even though I am going 5 over the speed limit so that’s been super fun.
So yeah… life’s weird but wonderful and sometimes stressful. Sending light, love and creativity to you all.
