I received my ARC for Bitter over Sweet this week! The cover is so pretty! I’m so excited!

Tried to print it at the Seven Eleven but it was 10 yen a page! 10 YEN!! So, I pulled out my ancient printer with its janky ink cartridges and now I have a copy in a lovely shade of turquoise lol

Hoping to go through it today and tomorrow. For anyone, attending AWP, a special version will be printed out for it! So, you don’t have to wait until November!

I would also love to thank Andrew Gifford, my publisher, for the amazing resources that he has compiled in his 30 years of publishing that walks you through every step of the process - from contract signing, to author brand, to pitching to media, to what comes after your book launches… up to five years out. I mean that’s a lot of information that each author has access to… I think it’s like 200 pages.

So here’s a shout out to Andrew (and Adam, my editor) for all of the amazing support!

I’m sure you want to know about my motorcycle adventures… we went camping and it was really nice. Looking forward to doing it again soon. We also drove to Karuizawa, up a winding mountain road that felt way to advanced for my skill level, but I did pretty well, and then we drove back… and we did it for the bbq. It was worth it.
