My original talk story was going to be about my brain being stupid and my emotions being all over the place… but I decided that I want to celebrate the good things and talk about the amazing events coming next week.

First, I am so excited to have my interview with Jon DiSavino on Short Story Today on January 18! I can’t wait for you all to hear him read my work (as well as here me read mine).

Second, I am so happy to have a reading with Bereket Writing Community! I am honored to share space with two other amazing writers from this community!

Finally, I would like to say that I have had no pubs or acceptances yet this year… but I have so far collected 6 rejections (this isn’t what’s causing my existential crisis, surprisingly lol) which is still not the most I have seen in the Rejection Competition I am a part of… So there’s always room for more.
