Trampset Pub, Podcast Interview with Crow Collective, and Mariah Carey
It’s Christmas lesson time here in Japan and the dulcet sounds of Marian Carey have been playing on the daily. I actually don’t dislike “All I Want for Christmas” - it’s a fun but difficult song for anyone to sing (including my 15 year olds). It’s upbeat and not depressing like “Last Christmas” which I will have the joy of listening to and singing to next week. Oh joy.
Today, I would like to celebrate “Be Careful What You Wish For” in Trampset which was chosen by Monica Wang! I am so grateful this found a home, and I am especially grateful to Joe (J. Edward Kruft) for helping me with that last line, which is resonating with readers! Thank you!!
Finally, because it’s Friday and I have more Christmas lessons after I post this, I would like to say thank you to Sage Tyrtle who interviewed me for Crow Collective’s podcast last Saturday! It was and is a pleasure to share space with this amazing writer. Not sure when that will go live but you are for sure gonna hear about it!
I am also planning to hold a few workshops through the Crow Collective - one on flexing your creativity and another possibly focusing on BIPOC writers and identity (still thinking this one through).
As always, sending you all love and creativity and positive vibes!!
