Sorry for the late post for those of you who like to pop in and read my random ramblings. Yesterday was so busy I couldn’t do anything creative besides a quick lunchtime sketch and my daily ukulele practice.

First, I would like to celebrate my publication yesterday (my time) of a hermit crab flash I wrote! “How to Care for the Giant Hawaiian in Your Life” in Sledgehammer Literary Journal - this was written based on a Kathy Fish prompt from last year’s sabbatical prompt series. I have gotten really positive responses on it and that has made me very happy. It was very experimental and a little more cnf than fiction but what isn’t these days.

Second, I want to say again that The Awesome Awful Podcast I did which went live Tuesday was an absolute joy to do and to listen to… I can’t wait to do another one. It actually makes me want to create my own podcast!

Finally, I haven’t written anything new since my workshop and I want to be okay with this. Every time I think about sitting down to write an aversion develops and I don’t know why. I guess that’s just part of the creative life.

Oh and one more week until my first vaccination shot!
