75 Days Done and Another Publication

I am so happy to announce my most recent publication in The Lumiere Review’s first anniversary issue. “The Day Captain Cook Missed Hawaii” is a story that I feel really strongly about. There’s a lot about being Hawaiian and growing up in Hawaii that I constantly deal with in my writing. My identity and how it is/was shaped is something I am fascinated and frustrated about.

I have also completed 75 days of my 100 days of flash challenge which I think is a big effen deal.

I think I will just stop there as I would like to be positive today with my publications and my successes. I don’t need to dwell on the negatives in my life right now.
