Keeping the positive vibes going with celebrating my latest publication!

My short story “Another Night on da Kona Pier“ is in The Island Review. I am happy it found a home because I had been submitting it for almost a year and it just kept being rejected.

But, of course, I must balance the positive with what’s happening in my city….a high school student was tested positive and the hardware store they worked at has been closed because of it. And yet, it is business as usual. I have no idea what will happen. Summer will start in the beginning of August. I probably won’t be able to travel anywhere, even in the country, because I have no idea how things will work out.

There is so much going on in the world.
