We No Get Slopes Published in Waxwing
I am so happy that We No Get Slopes found a good home at Waxwing.
I wrote it last year around the anniversary of the Challenger’s explosion as well as the anniversary of the protests of the Thirty Meter Telescope on the top of Mauna Kea. I just felt that these events were connected and a part of my childhood and life.
I don’t wan’t to delve to deeply in why I wrote the story or my intentions for it because ultimately it’s the reader who finds meaning no matter what I want them to see or feel or acknowledge.
I am just happy, and I want to send that happiness out into the world.
