School is not cancelled. Everything will continue as is.

The only way they will close a school is if someone gets sick. I have no idea what will happen but it’s impossible to think clearly. It’s impossible not to compare this country’s choices to the hubris of the makers of the Titanic. I hate being extreme in my comparisons but I am completely flabbergasted that no one in my city is taking this seriously.

I will just keep coming to school. I don’t have a choice. Wash my hands. Stay as far away as I can from people which is impossible since there is no social distancing at work. I literally sit less than a foot away from a teacher on each side of me. Stay home when I am not at work unless I have to go shopping for necessities.

So much bleakness. I thought we were living in a dystopia before…I couldn’t have been more mistaken.
