The brand new story I wrote for Cease, Cows’ fairy tale challenge got rejected, adding another to my 2+ years of continuous rejections. I wasn’t surprised but I had been hopeful. I guess the take away from that was I got a new story that was fun to write and I hope someone out there gets it and wants to publish it.

Also, we got a new washlet installed so that’s good. Damn Japanese toilet seats are so expensive and a bitch to clean. I was slightly embarrassed that they had to remove the old one (10+ years) and put in the new one… Since I couldn’t move the seat, I couldn’t clean under it so who knows how disgusting it was.

My only problem with it is that it’s ivory and not pink…what’s up with people putting in colored toilets in their rentals? At least Japan never had the avocado green phase…just pink, white and ivory. So I got an ivory top to my pink bottom lol

Rejections and toilets. I guess there is something tying those together today.
