Lots of rejections so far this year…but on the bright side, I think I finished a new story and I want to celebrate that accomplishment today.

This Fairy Tale was fun to write. It’s completely outside my normal writing voice which I think is a really good thing. I would almost call it joyous, which is rare when I write, which I think I should look at a little more closely in the future.

I am giving it a final edit before I submit it but even if it doesn’t get chosen for publication, I know that I did something new and that’s what is important.
