It’s my second day on Hachijo, an island off the coast of Honshu and part of Tokyo. It was filled with local buses, amazing onsen and a yummy lunch recommendation from our taxi driver.

First day was arrival on an overnight ferry, campsite setup and all day beach fun at the black sand beach next to our campsite.

It’s been great and we have 3 more days to go before taking another ferry back.

I hope that, as always, I am able to use this vacation to get me writing and to let me not be depressed about my lack of acceptances or anything else.
