So I passed the JLPT after only 2 months of studying. I was completely surprised. I definitely thought I wouldn’t pass. My plan still is to take the next test in July. I guess we will see how I do.

I am still wrangling a new story involving the wild turkeys on the Big Island. Not sure where that is going. Sometimes stories flow. Sometimes they don’t.

And I haven’t been playing anything...my ukuleles and guitars hang there accusingly, mocking me with every upwards glance. I feel extremely guilty about it. I guess maybe I think I should be better at them than I am.
