Faking It - Ukulele Style

I picked up a fake book for my ukulele recently. It's the Ukulele Fake Book by Hal Leonard.

There are exactly 686 songs in it. Starting with the wonderfully seventies euphemistic "Afternoon Delight" and ending with the overtly racist animated movie from the Mouse "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah."

In between, there are songs from the the 1920s to now. Eagles, The Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson and more fill the pages. I actually feel like I got a pretty good deal.

Each song has the melody, the ukulele chords and the lyrics. When the song takes two pages, the layout is across two facing pages so that's good for playing.

I have only made my way to the end of the B's with Bye Bye Love. I need to practice more as my fingers need more callouses and they also need to stretch out more for some of those hard chords I never learned as a child. I'm looking at you Bminor.
