So, should I participate in this year’s NaNoWriMo? I want to.

I appreciate the spirit of the event. Making yourself sit down and pound out 50,000 words in a month is definitely a worthy challenge. I have done it once, I think. I could check but I am lazy today.

I do have that specter of a novel hanging over my head like the sword of Damocles so it would most likely help that get written….but I also committed myself to taking a test in December that has been taking up most of my time in studying and learning that I am dumb. Well not dumb but sorely lacking in necessary information. Plus I have started to really work on learning how to play the guitar.

I had hoped writing this post would help me think it through but I think I need more time. I have until the end of October to decide.
